I’m putting together the 2026 Practical Data State of Data Engineering Report, and I want it to reflect what’s actually happening across our field, not just vendor marketing or hype cycles.
So I created a short, anonymous 2–3 minute survey that covers how we really work: data modeling, AI usage, architecture, team structure, pain points, and the tools we rely on.
