Have you ever thought about writing for Stoicism Today? Now is the time to send in your contribution! We accept a wide range of genres, including first-person narratives, academic essays, and artistic pieces such as visual arts or music. Any topics related to the theory or practice of Stoicism are eligible for publication.
We would especially like to invite submissions related to the theme of Stoicon 2026, Happiness and Wellbeing. These topics have always been important and relevant to living a good life, and they continue to draw our attention today. Our conference asks the following questions:
- What did the ancient Stoics think about happiness, and how can we apply their insights in the 21st century?
- What is Stoic wellbeing? How can we be well in our lives today?
- What are the practices and strategies that lead to long-lasting happiness and wellbeing?
- How can we be happy and well in a world that seems so unhappy and unwell?
In connection with the upcoming event, we would love to hear how Stoicism has impacted your happiness and wellbeing. However, we are always open to excellent pieces on other Stoic-related themes as well.
If you wish to send us a piece, please review our submission guidelines and ensure your submission meets all our requirements. We also advise reading through our archive to get a sense of the types of pieces we publish.
We appreciate works from first-time authors as well as established writers and academics. Please keep in mind that we do NOT accept AI-enhanced pieces. We ask all potential contributors to verify that AI was not used in the creation of their submission.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks for reading Stoicism Today! This post is public so feel free to share it.
