Peter Asher

Peter Asher is a British musician, record producer, and manager. After starting his music career in the 1960s as part of the British pop duo Peter and Gordon (https://www.allmusic.com/artist/peter-gordon-mn0000264860), Asher ran A&R at the Beatles’ Apple Records. Over the course of Asher’s prolific career as an executive and music producer, he’s worked with artists including James Taylor (https://www.allmusic.com/artist/james-taylor-mn0000204386), Linda Ronstadt (https://www.allmusic.com/artist/linda-ronstadt-mn0000686897), Cher (https://www.allmusic.com/artist/cher-mn0000107090), and Bonnie Raitt (https://www.allmusic.com/artist/bonnie-raitt-mn0000096613).
